ASSITEJ Finland's autumn meeting at Annantalo 15.12.2025

At the autumn meeting, we organized both an afternoon program and the statutory autumn meeting, where we elected the chairperson for the coming term and three board members to replace those whose terms were ending.

The autumn meeting was held on Monday, December 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Annantalo in Helsinki (Annankatu 30, 00100 Helsinki). It was also possible to participate in the autumn meeting remotely.

The afternoon also saw the launch of Assitej Finland's 50th anniversary publication. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the organization's anniversary together!

3:00–4:30 p.m. Lecture and discussion:
A changing field – maintaining your professional skills

How can you maintain your professional skills and get excited about learning new things? What is it like to study alongside work? What kind of training could Assitej offer in the future? The event will feature an introduction by Riikka Herva, training planner at the University of the Arts Helsinki's Theater Academy, as well as presentations from the field of performing arts for children and young people.

5–7 p.m. Statutory autumn meeting

The meeting discussed the action plan and budget for 2026, as well as Assitej Finland's strategy for 2026–2028. The autumn meeting also confirmed the membership fees for the coming year. The meeting elected the association's chairperson for 2026 and three board members to replace those whose terms were ending. The composition of the board remained unchanged, and Iivo Baric will continue as chairperson of Assitej.
