ASSITEJ Finland's autumn meeting at Annantalo 15.12.2025

At the autumn meeting, we will organize both an afternoon program and the statutory autumn meeting, at which the chairperson for the coming term and three board members to replace those whose terms are ending will be elected.

The autumn meeting will be held on Monday, December 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Annantalo in Helsinki (Annankatu 30, 00100 Helsinki). It is also possible to participate in the autumn meeting remotely.

The afternoon will also feature the launch of Assitej Finland's 50th anniversary publication – welcome to celebrate the organization's anniversary together!

3:00–4:30 p.m. Lecture and discussion:
A changing field – maintaining your professional skills

How can you maintain your professional skills and get excited about learning new things? What is it like to study alongside work? What kind of training could Assitej offer in the future? The event will feature an introduction by Riikka Herva, education planner at the University of the Arts Helsinki's Theater Academy, as well as presentations from the field of performing arts for children and young people. Come and join the discussion!

5–7 p.m. Statutory autumn meeting

The meeting will discuss the action plan and budget for 2026, as well as Assitej Finland's strategy for 2026–2028. The autumn meeting will also confirm membership fees for the coming year. The meeting will elect the association's chairperson for 2026 and three board members to replace those whose terms are ending. Assitej's current chairperson, Iivo Baric, is available for another term.

You can express your interest in these positions in advance by sending an email to info@assitej.fi. If you are interested in a position on the board or as chair, you can send a short introduction about yourself for the autumn meeting. We encourage Assitej members to stand for positions of trust and promote the organization's goals!

Please note! In order to plan the catering and ensure the smooth running of any remote voting, please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing info@assitej.fi or calling +358 44 0866 355.

We warmly welcome you to the autumn meeting and conference!
