Apply to participate in a performing arts pitch event for children and young people
As part of the Bravo! festival, a pitch event will be organized where Finnish artists and performing arts makers working in Finland and creating work for children and young audiences can present their work. The festival will host several curators and presenters from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Norway, and other countries. Apply now!
When: Tuesday, March 17, 2:30–4:30 p.m.
Where: Goethe-Institut, Salomonkatu 5 B, Helsinki
Who: Professional groups and artists with performances for children and young people that are suitable for international touring.
You can pitch 1-2 performances at the event. The event will be held in English.
Apply by sending a concise description of your group/yourself and the performance you wish to pitch by February 8 to info@assitej.fi. You can include pictures and links to videos and websites.
A total of 5–6 groups will be selected. Each group will have a maximum of 5 minutes to present their work. The selected groups or individuals will be offered advance coaching for the event.
For participants travelling from outside the Helsinki metropolitan area, travel costs for 1–2 people will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €250.
The event is organized in collaboration with Assitej Finland, the Bravo! Festival and the Goethe-Institut.
