Nils is a mischievous boy who treats animals thoughtlessly. As punishment, the elf turns him into a tiny thumb-sized boy. When Martti, the tame goose from his home farm, joins a flock of wild geese, Nils is unwittingly swept along on a long journey to Lapland.
During their long journey through Sweden, Nils and Martti become friends and have many adventures. Nils helps to rescue a charming goose girl named Untuvainen and also manages to chase away Smirre, the fox who is hunting the geese. In the end, he understands what kindness and caring really mean – and is rewarded by being allowed to return to the world of humans.
For children aged 3 and up. Running time approx. 40 min.
